We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and handle it confidentially and in accordance with statutory regulations. As technological changes and the ongoing development of this website may result in changes being made to this data protection statement, we recommend you re-read the statement at regular intervals.

Definitions of terms used (e.g. "personal data" and "processing") can be found in art. 4 GDPR.

Access data

In line with our legitimate interests we, the website provider, collect data regarding access to the website (see art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR) and save this data in the form of logfiles on the website server. The following data is recorded in this way:

  • Website visited

  • Time of access

  • Volume of data transferred in bytes

  • Source/reference from which you arrived at the website

  • Browser

  • Operating system

  • IP address

The server logfiles are saved for up to seven days and then deleted. Data is saved for security purposes and to resolve any issues of misuse. Where data has to be collected for reasons of providing proof, it will not be deleted until the matter in question is resolved.

Hosting and sending of emails

In order to facilitate the operation of this website, hosting services such as email despatch, maintenance etc. are used. The provider of these services will use user data from this website for the furtherance of our legitimate interests as per art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR and art. 28 GDPR.

Reach measurement and cookies

This website uses cookies for anonymous reach measurement, which are transferred to the user‘s browser either from our server or from a third-party server. Cookies are small files saved on the user‘s device. The user‘s browser then accesses these files. Cookies make this website more user-friendly and secure.

If you do not wish reach measurement cookies to be saved on your device, you can opt out here:

The latest browsers allow you to adjust your settings to reject cookies. However if you do so, you may not be able to fully use all the functions of this website.

Use of font libraries (Google Webfonts)

In order to ensure the optimal display of our website across all browsers, we use font libraries or script libraries such as Google Webfonts https://www.google.com/webfonts/. To avoid having to be reloaded each time, Google‘s web fonts are transferred to the cache of your browser. If your browser does not support Google Webfonts or prevents access to it, content will be displayed using standard fonts.

The use of font libraries or script libraries automatically creates a connection to the library provider. It is therefore theoretically possible that the provider may collect your data, although at the current time it is unclear whether or not this happens or, if it does happen, for what purpose.

The data protection regulations for library operator Google can be found at: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Google Maps

Our website uses the route planning service Google Maps, for which the terms and conditions of use can be found at Nutzungsbedingungen von Google Maps.

Capture and processing of personal data

The website operator will collect, use and share your personal data only insofar as statutorily permitted or you have provided your consent. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally and that can be traced back to you (e.g. your name, email address or phone number). You can use this website without providing such details. Nonetheless, to improve our online service, we will save (in an anonymised form) data concerning your access to the website. This access data may include the file you have requested or the name of your ISP. The data is anonymised and therefore cannot be used to identify you personally.

  • We process personal data such as first name, surname, IP address, email address, place of residence, postcode and email contact details.

How we use your contact details

If you contact us using one of the methods provided, your details will be saved for the purposes of processing and responding to your enquiry. This data will not be shared with any third party without your permission.

Your details will be deleted once they are no longer required. We will check them every two years to ensure they are still current. Otherwise statutory archiving obligations apply.

Where there is an especially high risk of payment default, we reserve the right to share with third parties invoice data relating to payments made, insofar as such sharing is required for the collection of receivables. In this context we reserve the right to assign amounts due to us to a collection agent or similar agent charged with the collection of amounts due to us. We further reserve the right to share information on outstanding payments with credit reference agencies. Any such sharing will be subject to strict adherence to statutory regulations.

For certain tasks we may commission external data processing providers (e.g. data centres). Whenever we work with such service providers, they are bound by agreement to comply with the same data protection regulations as we are bound by.

User rights

As a user, you have the right on request to be informed without charge as to the personal data held about you. You further have the right to have incorrect data corrected and to have the processing of your personal data restricted or to have the data deleted. Where applicable you also have the right to data portability. If you suspect that your data has been unlawfully processed, you can complain to the relevant supervisory authorities.

Deletion of data

Provided your request does not conflict with a statutory obligation to retain data (e.g. minimum data retention requirements), you have the right to have your data deleted. The data held by us will be deleted provided it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected and there is no statutory obligation to retain it. Where data cannot be deleted because it is required for lawful purposes, its processing will be restricted. In such cases the data will be locked and not processed for other purposes.

Right to object

Users of this website can make use of their right to object and at any time object to the processing of their personal data.

If you wish to request the correction, locking or deletion of your data or if you require information about the personal data held about you or if you have any questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data or if you wish to revoke any permission you have given, please write to us at service@kisto-plast.de
